Michał Haratyk Returns After Two Years of Injuries, Eyes European Championships in Birmingham

Polish shot-putter Michał Haratyk, bronze medallist at the 2023 European Championships in Rome, is returning after two years out with a ruptured Achilles tendon and a subsequent wrist injury. A strong performance in Warsaw on Saturday has raised hopes he will compete at the European Championships in Birmingham for the fifth time. Haratyk previously described the injury period as the most painful of his life.
