Tusk: Warsaw to build Wall of Remembrance for victims of 20th-century wars in Ukraine, including Volhynia massacre

Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on Saturday, on the 82nd anniversary of Bloody Sunday of 11 July 1943, that Warsaw will erect a Wall of Remembrance bearing the names of all identified victims of 20th-century wars in Ukraine, including victims of the Volhynia massacre. The Volhynia massacre refers to the killing of tens of thousands of Poles by the UPA in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia in 1943–1945. The initiative is part of broader efforts to commemorate victims and foster Polish-Ukrainian reconciliation.
