Hungary to amend constitution to allow removal of President Sulyok

Hungary's National Assembly is set to adopt the 17th constitutional amendment on Monday, which would allow the removal of President Tamas Sulyok, who was appointed by the Fidesz party. Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced the move. The amendment reflects growing political tensions between the president and the ruling parliamentary majority.
