Move over law applies in all 50 US states, yet a third of drivers still ignore it

The move over law, which requires drivers to change lanes when passing emergency vehicles, is in force across all 50 US states. Despite this, roughly one in three drivers continues to ignore the rule, risking fines of up to $10,000 and even prison sentences. Non-compliance poses a serious danger to emergency responders at roadsides.
