US Navy chief calls for more warships and faster shipbuilding
Admiral Daryl Caudle, Chief of Naval Operations, has called for a larger US Navy fleet, faster shipbuilding and expanded munitions production to meet growing global demands. He stated the service remains operationally ready despite heavy commitments and highlighted record recruiting and retention figures. Caudle argued that rebuilding the US defence industrial base is essential to long-term national security.
