Avi Loeb, vocal proponent of alien theories, to lead White House UFO advisory council

Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb has been appointed to lead the UAP Science Advisory Council, established by the White House, the Pentagon, the FBI and the intelligence community. The council will provide scientific reports to the UAP Governing Board to help resolve the nature of unidentified aerial phenomena. Loeb is known for his controversial claims about extraterrestrial objects.
