Mali and Algeria restore ambassadors and reopen airspace after year-long rift

Mali and Algeria have ended a diplomatic rift lasting over a year by reinstating their respective ambassadors and reopening their shared airspace. The two neighbouring West African countries did not disclose details of any agreement reached. The dispute began more than a year ago and had led to the closure of airspace between the two nations.
