Spain wildfires: at least 12 dead in Andalusia as firefighters gain upper hand

Firefighters gained the upper hand on Saturday over wildfires burning in Spain's southern region of Andalusia, aided by improved weather conditions. At least 12 people have died since the fires erupted on Thursday, with seven people officially listed as missing. Around 500 firefighters are battling the blaze, which has devastated large areas of southern Spain.
