France heatwave: Eiffel Tower and Louvre to close early over the weekend

France is experiencing its third heatwave since May 2026. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay will close early over the weekend due to the extreme heat. Many towns have also cancelled their Bastille Day fireworks displays because of elevated fire risk and dry conditions.
