Poland ready to help upgrade Ukraine's MiG-29s, but Kyiv or allies must foot the bill

Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated that Poland can assist Ukraine in modernising its MiG-29 fighter jets, but that Kyiv or willing allies should cover the costs. He also mentioned ongoing talks about transferring the MiGs to Ukraine in exchange for access to Ukrainian drone technology. Negotiations are continuing.
