Poland open to helping modernise Ukraine's MiG-29s — allies to foot the bill

Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated on Saturday that Poland does not rule out participating in the modernisation of Ukraine's MiG-29 fighter jets. He stressed, however, that the costs should be borne by Ukraine or allied nations willing to fund the project. Poland is one of the few NATO members with operational experience of the MiG-29 platform.
