Avowed 2 still possible as Obsidian skeleton crew keeps working on it

Despite being internally cancelled and most resources shifted to a new Fallout game, a skeleton crew at Obsidian Entertainment is still working on an Avowed sequel. Microsoft this week confirmed layoffs of 1,600 Xbox employees and the closure or independence of four first-party studios. The fate of Avowed 2 remains uncertain, as the small team may be reassigned once the Fallout project demands more staff.
