Polish speeding fines in 2026: up to thousands of zlotys and licence loss

Poland's toughened road-fine schedule, introduced in 2022, remains in force in 2026. Exceeding the speed limit by more than 30 km/h in a built-up area carries a fine of up to 2,500 PLN, while exceeding it by over 50 km/h means up to 5,000 PLN and licence confiscation. Repeat offenders caught within two years face double the standard fine.
