Morocco out of World Cup 2026 after second straight 2-0 defeat to France

France defeated Morocco 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup at Gillette Stadium on Thursday. It is the second consecutive tournament in which Morocco has been eliminated by France with an identical scoreline, having lost 2-0 in the 2022 semifinals. Morocco again failed to find a way past the French side.
