Pfizer seizes Polish Air Navigation Agency account over €1.3B unpaid COVID vaccine bill

Pfizer has seized the bank account of Poland's Air Navigation Agency (PAŻP) to enforce a Belgian court ruling ordering Poland to pay 5.6 billion złoty (approx. €1.3B) for COVID-19 vaccines it ordered but refused to accept or pay for. The seizure of PAŻP's account appears to result from a lack of more accessible Polish state assets abroad. The case was reported by Rynek Zdrowia and Newsweek Poland.
