Andalusia wildfires kill 12, most victims were foreigners who left marked evacuation routes

Wildfires in Andalusia, Spain, have killed 12 people, with minister Antonio Sanz confirming that most or all of the victims were foreigners. Emergency services believe the victims left marked evacuation routes and took side roads that turned into deadly traps. Contact has not been re-established with 23 people; conditions on Saturday were described as more favourable than the previous day.
