IBS economists call for gradual rise in women's retirement age to 65
Economists Maciej Albinowski and Piotr Lewandowski from the Institute for Structural Research argue in an opinion piece for money.pl that Poland must gradually raise the retirement age for women and align it with that of men at 65. They also call for an automatic mechanism linking the retirement age to rising life expectancy, alongside three other structural reforms, warning that without change the pension system will become unsustainable.
