Prosecutors intensify Iwona Wieczorek investigation ahead of 16th anniversary
Just before the 16th anniversary of Iwona Wieczorek's disappearance, investigators from the cold-case Archive X unit conducted intensive operations in the Pomerania region, questioning dozens of witnesses from her circle of acquaintances. Prosecutors confirmed field work using ground-penetrating radar and the elimination of one investigative hypothesis. Wieczorek disappeared in Gdańsk in July 2010 and her fate remains unknown.
