Polish Women Give Birth in Pain and Too Often by C-Section, Gynaecologist Warns

Gynaecologist Maciej Socha, speaking at a TVN24 event in Bydgoszcz, stated that Poland has one of Europe's highest rates of caesarean sections. He argued that women opt for them out of fear of obstetric violence and the lack of access to dignified, natural childbirth. Socha summed up the situation by saying Polish women give birth "in pain and very often surgically."
