NBP raised ETF share to 7.4% of assets as European central banks embrace funds
According to the Polish Economic Institute, ETFs are becoming an increasingly important component of central bank reserves worldwide. The National Bank of Poland raised its ETF allocation to 7.4% of total assets by the end of 2025. The trend extends to other European central banks, which are turning to ETFs as a form of reserve diversification.
