ZUS wants pensions paid by bank transfer; ministry rejects the idea

Poland's Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) proposed switching pension payments entirely to bank transfers, eliminating cash deliveries by postmen. The change would affect a large number of pensioners who currently receive benefits the traditional way. The responsible ministry has firmly rejected the proposal.
