Nolan praises Gen Z filmmakers for rejecting AI: "Hitting at exactly the wrong time"
Two-time Oscar winner Christopher Nolan has praised Gen Z filmmakers for "utterly rejecting" AI-generated content, describing generative AI as arriving in Hollywood "at exactly the wrong time." While acknowledging that not all AI applications are useless or meaningless, Nolan expressed hope for a future of filmmaking that does not rely on artificial intelligence. He made the remarks while preparing his new IMAX film project.
