Former NIK head Marian B. indicted
Prosecutors have filed an indictment against Marian B., the former head of Poland's Supreme Audit Office (NIK). In July 2021, the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) detained and charged his son Jakub B., his wife Agnieszka, and the then-director of the Tax Chamber in Kraków, Tadeusz G., in a related strand of the same investigation. The case spans multiple threads and involves several people from the former NIK chief's circle.
