Heatwave hits France — Paris on red weather alert from Saturday

Paris entered a red weather alert — the highest warning level — from midday on Saturday 11 July. Meteo France forecasts temperatures above 35°C in the capital on both Saturday and Sunday. A large part of France is also placed under the red alert.
