New York City Introduces Click-to-Cancel Subscription Rule

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has announced a new Click-to-Cancel rule that makes it easier for consumers to cancel subscriptions. The regulation revives a similar consumer protection measure previously proposed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) but abandoned last year.
