US CBDC ban becomes law without Trump's signature

Donald Trump announced on social media that he would not sign the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which includes a ban on a US central bank digital currency (CBDC) until the end of 2030. Because Trump neither signed nor vetoed the bill, it is set to automatically become law on Saturday under constitutional procedure. The CBDC ban is thus set to take effect without presidential endorsement.
