Ukraine strikes shadow fleet tankers – Russia halts Don–Azov canal traffic
Following Ukrainian military strikes on Russian commercial vessels, including tankers from the so-called shadow fleet, Russia has temporarily suspended navigation on the canal linking the Don River to the Sea of Azov, Reuters reported. Experts warn the closure could cut Russian grain exports, including wheat, by up to 25 percent. The move marks another Ukrainian strike against Russia's commercial maritime infrastructure.
