Poland's Infrastructure Ministry mandates type approval for e-scooters and e-bikes

Polish Infrastructure Minister Dariusz Klimczak has announced new type-approval regulations for electric single-track vehicles, including e-scooters and e-bikes. The rules aim to ban the import and use of devices that do not meet safety standards. The regulations also introduce penalties for unsafe vehicles and restrictions on where even compliant ones can be parked.
