2,500-year-old warrior-prince tomb with chariot and helmet found in Italy

Italian archaeologists have unearthed the tomb of a pre-Roman "warrior-prince" dating to the 6th century BC, buried with a chariot, a helmet and rich grave goods. The find is part of an extensive necropolis and provides new insights into the funerary rites of the Piceni, a little-known civilisation of central Italy. It is considered one of the most significant discoveries relating to this ancient culture.
