Far-right protesters disrupt 85th anniversary of Jedwabne pogrom
Ceremonies marking the 85th anniversary of the Jedwabne pogrom were disrupted by far-right counter-protesters shouting at the event. The scene contrasted sharply with the solemnity expected at a site where Jews were murdered in 1941. One participant, Barbara, appealed for respect: "People were murdered here. This place requires silence, reflection and dignity."
