Identity thieves used his lost ID — ZUS demands 112,000 PLN in back contributions

Krzysztof Siadkowski, who previously resolved a false accusation of defrauding German tax authorities of 360,000 PLN, has now received a debt collection letter from ZUS in Kluczbork demanding 112,000 PLN in unpaid health insurance contributions. Fraudsters used his personal data after he lost his ID card, even though he had reported the loss to the authorities. The case highlights the serious consequences of identity theft in Poland.
