Peru's President-Elect Fujimori Vows to Restore Ties with Mexico

Peruvian president-elect Keiko Fujimori has declared her intention to end the months-long diplomatic rift with Mexico, which was triggered by Mexico's political asylum decisions. Fujimori said she has "every intention" of restoring bilateral relations between the two countries. The dispute had strained ties between Lima and Mexico City for several months.
