Turkey wants to trade Russian S-400 missiles for American F-35 jets

Turkey is signalling its readiness to trade its Russian S-400 missile systems for American F-35 fighter jets. Ankara was excluded from the F-35 programme precisely because of its purchase of the S-400 from Russia, a dispute that has strained Turkish-American relations for years.
