Far-right activists took over Jedwabne on the 25th anniversary of the massacre's exposure
On the 25th anniversary of the revelation of the Jedwabne massacre of Polish Jews, the commemoration site was taken over by far-right nationalists. Gunshots were heard and participants spread claims of betrayal by the Institute of National Remembrance and Jarosław Kaczyński. Journalist Marek Kozubal argues the Polish state has abdicated its responsibility to properly commemorate the atrocity.
