Polish interior ministry slams Kaczyński for calling police "party militia"

Poland's Interior Ministry issued a statement condemning Jarosław Kaczyński's words as a "scandalous attack on the Polish uniform." The PiS leader called Warsaw police officers "militias of the ruling party" following a Friday altercation between PiS politicians and officers near the monument to President Lech Kaczyński. The interior minister personally described Kaczyński's conduct as "shameful."
