Wildfire in Almería, Spain kills at least 12 and burns 3,800 hectares

A fast-spreading wildfire in Almería, southern Spain, killed at least 12 people on Thursday, many of them trapped in their cars while attempting to flee. The blaze scorched 3,800 hectares, injured eight people and left 23 others unaccounted for.
