Polish zloty falls to 4.35 per euro and 3.80 per dollar after Glapiński's dovish remarks

The Polish zloty weakened sharply on Friday, with the euro reaching 4.35 PLN and the dollar 3.80 PLN. Analysts attribute the drop directly to dovish signals from National Bank of Poland Governor Adam Glapiński at Thursday's press conference, which hinted at possible interest rate cuts. PKO BP market strategist Mirosław Budzicki said Glapiński's comments were the "final push" that broke the zloty out of its weeks-long sideways trend.
