Polish junior handball player Aleksander Sławiński beaten up, misses European Championship

Aleksander Sławiński, a young member of Poland's junior handball national team, was seriously assaulted in Międzyzdroje. Due to his injuries, he will not join the squad's training camp starting 15 July, nor will he compete at the European Junior Handball Championship. The incident occurred in the Baltic Sea resort town.
