Braun erects cross with antisemitic plaque at Jedwabne massacre anniversary

During the 85th anniversary of the Jedwabne massacre, politician Grzegorz Braun and his supporters erected a cross on a neighbouring plot bearing a plaque referencing "Russian-Jewish Sovietism" and demanded the arrest of Poland's chief rabbi Michael Schudrich. Ceremony participants condemned the act as an unworthy disruption of the victims' commemoration, with one woman saying "Poland is turning brown."
