Police block Kaczyński from laying wreath at Lech Kaczyński monument
During the monthly Smolensk anniversary commemoration in Warsaw, PiS politicians including party leader Jarosław Kaczyński were blocked by police from laying a wreath at the monument to Lech Kaczyński. Kaczyński sharply criticised the officers' actions. The incident prompted responses from the Interior Ministry, the police command and the ruling Civic Coalition.
