Russia uses fibre-optic FPV drones to bypass Ukraine's energy grid defences

Russia has begun using FPV drones guided by fibre-optic cables to strike power stations in Ukraine's Sumy region. Because the drones are controlled via cable rather than radio signals, they can bypass Ukrainian electronic warfare systems that would otherwise jam them. Analysis indicates the new tactic also defeats the physical barriers protecting energy infrastructure.
