China's Tianwen-2 Photographs Earth's Quasi-Moon Kamoʻoalewa – Smaller Than Expected

China's Tianwen-2 probe has sent back the first close-up images of asteroid (469219) Kamoʻoalewa, Earth's so-called quasi-moon, revealing it to be smaller than previously estimated. Samples collected by the probe are expected to shed light on the object's origins. Separately, on 10 July China successfully recovered the first stage of its Long March 10B orbital rocket for the first time, catching it in a net-like system on a sea platform.
