Krithi Karanth: from childhood jungle trips to leading wildlife conservation in India
Krithi Karanth, award-winning conservation biologist and CEO of the Centre for Wildlife Studies in India, told France 24 that her father took her into the jungle from the age of one, nurturing a lifelong passion. She now leads conservation efforts for Asian elephants, tigers and honey bees across India. Her work combines scientific research with engagement with communities living alongside wildlife.
