Germany gets US approval for ATACMS production and Tomahawk missiles — ahead of Poland

At the NATO summit in Ankara, Germany secured US approval to produce ATACMS missiles and receive deliveries of Tomahawk cruise missiles. In building long-range strike capabilities based on American technology, Germany is now ahead of Poland, which has not yet concluded similar agreements. Poland nonetheless remains a significant player in the allied security architecture.
