Kaczyński suspends PiS MP Giżyński over Częstochowa referendum criticism

Jarosław Kaczyński has suspended MP Szymon Giżyński from PiS membership rights pending disciplinary proceedings. The reason was Giżyński's public criticism of the Częstochowa party structures' involvement in a referendum on recalling the city's mayor and city council. This is one of the rare instances of a formal party sanction against a sitting MP.
