Music industry launches voluntary AI labels for sound recordings

A coalition of music industry and artists' organisations has introduced a labelling system for sound recordings that use artificial intelligence. Simple icons will distinguish between tracks that are "AI-generated" and those that are "AI-assisted." The system is voluntary and is designed to be adopted by digital music services, distributors and other industry players.
