SpaceX applies to launch 100,000 third-generation Starlink satellites

SpaceX has filed an application to launch an additional 100,000 third-generation Starlink satellites into orbit. Elon Musk aims to massively expand what is already the world's largest satellite constellation. If approved, the move would dramatically increase the number of objects in low Earth orbit.
