Bryan Johnson spends $2M a year on health — diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis
Bryan Johnson, the American entrepreneur behind the Blueprint longevity project, has revealed he has been diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis (AIG), a chronic condition that can develop for years without obvious symptoms. The disease was flagged by a single out-of-range blood marker, despite Johnson spending around $2 million a year on health monitoring. AIG can cause vitamin B12 deficiency and anaemia; treatment focuses primarily on managing symptoms.
