Circle gets final OCC approval to open a US national trust bank

Circle, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, has received final approval from the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish a national trust bank. The bank will initially serve Circle and its affiliates, with potential future expansion into custody services for institutional clients.
