Outfits in Black Flag Resynced are purely cosmetic, but they're a way for Edward Kenway to show off his style and lean either into Assassin aesthetic, the classic pirate look, or everything between and beyond. There's plenty of clothing and outfits you'll get while doing the main story, but others require you to go off the beaten path and find various treasure chests or complete certain side quests. Below I'll show you how to get every outfit in the Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remake, as well as our pick for the best ones.

Reward for reaching level 18 in the Dark Animus Project.

Dragonscale Armor

Duncan Walpole's Robes

Collect all portraits for the Great Inagua Manor and follow the treasure map reward to the dig spot on Great Inagua (Coordinates 820, 430)

Hellion Armor

Purchase Hellfire Character Pack DLC.

Complete the "Art Lover" side quest on Great Inagua by collecting 25 pieces of art in total.

(Image credit: Ubisoft) As mentioned, outfits in Black Flag Resynced have no mechanical function and it doesn't matter what outfit you wear, unlike in the previous game where they did have certain effects. That means you choice of outfit is fully dictated by fashion and personal preference as you explore Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced , and the general vibe you want to give off. Speaking personally, I am enormously fond of Captain Morgan's Redingote, which is probably the most "piratey" outfit in the whole game.
